Now, we're talking value!

$29.95 for this feature-rich offering? At this price point, it is sure to be a winner!

This thing will stand toe-to-toe with the Airbook itself in giving value-for-value. Just look at the list of features:

  • It's thin.
  • Really thin.
  • Slimline design.
  • Skinny enough to take with you anywhere.
  • Fits in your pocket (if folded).
  • Fits in your purse (if you have a big purse, or folded for smaller ones).
  • Fits in a backpack.
  • Can be strapped around your leg for convenience (when it's not used for your Airbook) using rubberbands or tape.
  • Comes in a beautiful faux manila finish.
  • For safety, includes the string-tie clasp found in many real manila envelopes.
  • Using convenient postage stamps (available at post offices everywhere), the unit can be mailed ahead to important meetings!
  • And the list goes on!

This puppy is the value leader in its class. Personally, I think that it gives the Air a run for its money in the cost-to-benefit ratio category.

And it's thin!

uh, careful now

Just for fun I clicked on the "Buy Now" icon and it takes you to a real purchase page.   I don't think that part of the site is a joke, so careful about giving out the credit card number.  Sealed

I didn't actually follow through on that page, so I'm assuming it will tell you it's a joke, but they just might want to take your money for nothing.   Oh wait, they got the idea from.....  Oh, how clever..... Money for nothing...... Like....  Like.... Air....

The joke that wasn't a joke

Okay, I thought this was a total gag, and thought it was hilarious.

Then after what you said Walter, I took a closer look at the closer look image, and clearly saw bumps that wouldn't be on paper. Looked kinda naugahyde-y.

Then I read the FAQ and saw that it's made of upholstery-grade vinyl with a fleece lining. So now I still think it's hilarious, but in a different, slightly less hilarious way. I guess I saw what I wanted to see.

Of course, I was aided by the belief that we Mac users pay too much for too little, and that this has never been truer than with Air.
