Why I Switched to Adobe Premiere Pro (A Video Testimonial)

COW Blogs : Richard Harrington's Blog : Why I Switched to Adobe Premiere Pro (A Video Testimonial)

Atlanta Cutters 7_27_2011 Part 3: Adobe Premeire Pro CS5.5 presentation from Atlanta Cutters on Vimeo.

I share why RHED Pixel has switched to Adobe Premiere Pro. Forgive the rough audio… but the content and the logic are good (especially if you've been sitting on the fence wondering where to go about your video editing needs).

Richard Harrington, Founder RHED Pixel, presents Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5.
From the Atlanta Cutters Post Production User Group Meeting July 27, 2011. Sign up today to be a member or register for our next event. atlantacutters.com

WAV files are fine. Make sure you are dragging stereo files to stereo tracks and mono to mono tracks (look at track icons). You can set the track types in the new sequence dialog.

As far as recording narration, check your system in put settings then adjust PP preferences for audio input.

Premiere Pro is admirable in many respects but it says it recognizes WAV files, yet when I try dragging them to the Audio track, it refuses.
Secondly, although it recognizes Sound in the meter from the mic, and both red icons are glowing, I still fail to record Audio onto a track, in spite of muting everything as told....Frustration!
