Photoshop for free via the Web
by walter biscardi

Has anyone else noticed that Adobe is going to offer a hosted version of Photoshop for free to compete with Google? I've seen this in several places, though CNet is the first place I saw it.

Hoping to get a jump on Google and other competitors, Adobe Systems plans to release a hosted version of its popular Photoshop image-editing application within six months, the company's chief executive said Tuesday.

I think the first one's funnier, but there you go....

They've sort of told us....
by Tim Wilson

They've told us there's a big anouncement about CS 3, and that it will be covered live in an Adobe web conference, and a party in New York. Aharon, you'll let us know how that goes, right?

They've told us there will be a new Photoshop, called Photoshop Extended, but have only hinted at what it will be like.

They've also said that CS3 is going to be the largest software release in Adobe history.

All I'll say is that as cool as Adobe's web cast is going to be, you won't want to miss The COW's coverage either....

Thanks for passing the video along! Did you follow the link at the end? It's to a publisher of children's books. Wink
