So where are the Vegas editors??

Look -- whoever has posted in this blog doesn't understand what "Vegas (video)" means. Vegas Pro 8 editors need only post here, not any other. Let's draw the line, and get some bloogers blowing out of our creative noses, eh?? Okay, my question on Vegas... Who has a smokin' hot computer using Vegas Pro, who can render at medium to top speed? Do you use a monitor card to view on external monitor? And, how do you render for web most successfully? I'd like to know what your system is, and anything else you'd like to share with the "group". My Dell XPS M170 laptop has too many things in my "processes" list, and it chokes on a lot of things when doing Vegas. I'd like to reformat and start from scratch. Maybe I should... Anyway, take a moment and give us some ideas as to how to set up your computer for Vegas editing.

I'm stuck in a world of FCP and Premiere clones. Let's take the high road!! Hey, btw, vegas totally rocks as a multi-track processor, and the standard plugins get me through most of my audio sweetening chores. i'm tempted to try a multi-track session with overdubs.

I won't be much help here, but I use it occasionally. More for audio. I just did not want you to feel all alone :)
