| Today, after 6 months of planning, we executed our biggest live surgery event ever with 25 different cases from 23 hospitals including ones in Brazil, Japan, Australia, San Francisco, NY, Ft Lauderdale, Baton Rouge, St Augustine, Dendermonde, Poissy, Montpellier, Rome, Brussels and Chicago and two from Tijuana.
We started at 8:00am with Australia, which was nighttime for them. Now as the day finishes we have Tokyo where it is already tomorrow.
About 400 phone calls later it all went off without a hitch, or at least, without any hitches we could not handle
In addition to this I am overseeing the audiovisual setup, although there is a very capable tech staff from Citiview Audiovisual in New Jersey doing the actual operation.
Fri AM we are participating in a multi-point video conference with about 30 other locations around the world including some places I have never heard of.
The rest of the meeting is standard powerpoints and talking heads
Somehow I have found time to shoot stills with the DSLR, a few videos and update the Cine-Med Facebook page.
5-7pm cocktails and munchies, so it will be rewarded
