Footastic Theatre - A Study in Web Video Production

Footastic Theatre- Some Like it Hot production Still

Below is the link for the first two episodes in my weird little new web series, Footastic Theatre. This is a study in producing for web as opposed to producing for video and encoding down to share.

The premise is really short amusing engaging scenerios. Video crack. Watch one and you need more and you want to see them over and over. That's what I'm working toward. We are showing only the feet of the talent. Why? Web video is best with close-ups and all headshots are not that exciting to me.

It was rediculously easy to get people excited about this project. I have more writers than I can use. No one is paid but I believe my high ranking on Funny or Die with the Southern Jewish Princess teaser clip got some attention and people wanted to hop on board. And there is also some buzz about funnynnotslutty.com and that never hurts.

Funny not Slutty has been Featured

Note: I've added an audio interview to this story on the site!

My new site www.funnynotslutty.com was selected as a site of the week recently. I have new July articles up. Note of caution, there is some adult language as many comedic projects have.

And you must see what my featured artist, Kimberly McBride can do with a pinhole camera and an enormous amount of talent! I included one of her videos. She is all the characters below!

Houston...We have a clip

Well, I've been posting about it. My first comedy production, How to Live and Eat like a Southern Jewish Princess...We have a teaser clip. Check it out and we'd love your funny vote!

The embed would not work, please follow the link.

FunnyNotSlutty.com Gives New Home for Funny on the Internet

Press release for my new site. It's going quite well. Be warned, the comedy on this site has some adult content. If you are offended by Southpark, you won't want to go there...

Call for Female Writers, Producers, Comedians and Fans. Funny not Slutty is here!

And guys can check it out too...

I thought it would be good to have funny content geared toward women in one spot. It looks like a lot of web humor is more guy oriented. Does not hurt to support female comedians, writers, humorists and producers either.

There's a social network too if you want to check it out. Click "Network!" in the nav bar. Please take a look, let me know what you think, join the network and pass it on!

Published this sucker this weekend and I still have a lot of work to do, but hopefully you will get the idea. Suggestions always appreciated.

New Project/Adventure for me...Producing a Comedy Animation Series

Southern Jewish Princess

www.southernjewishprincess.com

For the animation we have title and character treatments, first script, voice is recorded, and away we go!

"WOW that must be sooo FUN!" is what peeps are saying when I tell them I'm producing an animated short series about a Southern Jewish Princess TV producer. And I hear/read this as I'm coming off of 24 hours of mass hysteria over production and communication issues going on. Also wondering who will be our composer as one is not solidified...

Video VS Still Images

I have been thinking about this for a couple of years.

My background is over ten years of still photography experience and only a couple in video/multimedia.

FOODIE THREAD FOODIE THREAD FOODIE THREAD

Can't stand it anymore. Somebody's got to start a food thread. All these creatives, some of you must cook. And I'm guessing some of you eat too.

I've taken it upon myself to create a food questionnaire to get the topic going. But please feel free to post a cooking question, tip, or recipe here. I spent an entire 4 minutes carefully putting this poll together, so please take some time to share your answers and input. You will be suprised at how much you learn about someone in a foodie poll.

Copy and paste with your answers:

Who's up for Premiere Pro Training?

Jeff Schell's Premiere Pro workshop, June 9th and 10th (a weekend) looks good. If the class makes enrollment and I can get the time off from work I'll be there. I've wanted to visit the Pacific NW anyway...
